The first step we take in these projects is a 30 minute discovery meeting to better understand your needs and context. This also will give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about developing a program or just what is required of you by the act and legislation, and how you should be applying it in your organization.
Prior to any work beginning, we will meet with you do discuss your needs and craft a proposal for work to be completed ensuring our plan and your requirements are aligned.
We will review all existing health and safety policies and programs to identify gaps in existing programs related to The Occupational Health and Safety Act and associated regulations.
We will then visit workplace(s) and identify key elements related to business operations.
We will prepare a health and safety program that meets the standards related to your workplace (depending on workplace, programs will include hazard analysis, training, inspections, incident] investigation, JHSC, safe work procedures and violence and harassment).
When the program is ready, we will prepare a report and review with key personnel and management.
